Community on Social and Economic Development(CSED) is a non governmental and non profit organization,based in Mwanza Region, Tanzania. 

Main target of CSED is to give support to vulnerable women, children ,orphans, people with disabilities, children and youths affected by, Drugs, sexual abuse, and HIV/AIDS 

Founded in May 2007 by ten men and women, who were so touched by the status of women in Tanzania dominated by stereotypes, social and gender construction imposed by men and the general public. 

Women bear the burden of domestic activities which cause them to remain the most vulnerable while children are affected by lack of their basic needs and rights. 

The situation of children is another problem resulting from poor parental care, increase of orphans, street children, malnutrition, illiteracy, HIV/AIDS, Malaria, drugs, sexual abuse and other related problems. 

Basically CSED was formed to support women, Youth and most vulnerable children.

Registration 

CSED is registered under the Non-Governmental Organizations Act, 2002 with Registration No. 00NGO/00003769
